Oshoba Celebration é um workshop de música como meditação conduzido por Anand Nivedano. Oshoba foi um nome criado por Osho a partir da palavra "Samba". É uma meditação que se parece com o ritmo tão conhecido por nós, mas com uma intenção diferente e especial: de nos trazer para o presente, de fazer o pensamento parar, de tomar consciência de si aqui e agora. É No-Mind pelo caminho musical. Em 2 eventos produzidos pelo Osho Pankaj Meditation Center (em Junho de 2012 e Março de 2013), tive o prazer e a honra de participar desse workshop.

Oshoba Celebration is a music as meditation workshop led by Anand Nivedano. Oshoba is a name created by Osho from the word "Samba". It is a meditation that sounds much like the brazilian rhythm, but with a different intent: to bring us to the present, to stop thinking, to become aware here and now. No-Mind through the musical path. In two events produced by Pankaj Osho Meditation Center (June 2012 and March 2013), I had the pleasure and honor to participate in this workshop.

Osho Band, Encontro Existencial no Osho Pankaj Meditation Center, 2012 / Osho Band, Existencial Meeting at Osho Pankaj Meditation Center, 2012

Em Abril de 2013 nossa Osho Band se juntou novamente para tocar nos Envening Meetings de um festival de meditação e artes no Osho Pankaj Meditation Center, em Sapucaia, inteior do estado do Rio de Janeiro. Desta vez, com Nivedano, Punitan, Prakasho, Shanti e eu (nos teclados pela primeira vez). Foi no Pankaj, em Junho de 2012, que a banda se reuniu pela primeira vez para um ensaio aberto, então voltar a tocar lá foi, de certa forma, como voltar para casa.

Em setembro de 2012 estive em Fortaleza, Ceará, para o Festival Holístico da Osheanic International. Não pudemos comparecer todos da Osho Band que vinham ensaiando, mas fui com Nivedano, Prakasho e Punitan. O festival foi incrível e participar da banda de 14 integrantes, incluindo Milarepa e Nivedano, que tiveram uma ligação tão próxima com o Mestre através da música, Bhodigita, Ashara, e outros, novos amigos. Uma experiência absolutamente extática, a música como meditação, como espelho, estar inteiramente presente e, ao mesmo tempo, desaparecer no Cosmos. A música não exatamente para se ouvir e dançar, mas principalmente para se sentir. (mais links em breve)

Osho Band, Osho Festival Internacional no Brasil 2012 / Osho Band, Osho International Festival in Brazil, 2012

Depois de alguns anos me dedicando mais à dança e ao teatro, a vida me surpreendeu com a oportunidade de participar de um projeto musical associado às meditações do meu amado Osho, meu Mestre Espiritual. Com os amados Punitan, Prakasho, Shanti e Satya, nos juntamos a Anand Nivedano, que estava à procura de músicos para tocar Oshoba no Osho Festival Internacional no Brasil, em Alto Paraíso - Goiás. União de vários corações batendo em harmonia. Uma aventura e uma honra. Dois meses de ensaio resultaram num repertório de Osho Music para Evening Meetings, Sannyas Celebration, e Music Group. Minha experiência musical favorita.

Banda Inquieto Facho / Inquieto Facho Band

 

Entre 2003 e 2005, morando em Brasília e estudando Artes Cênicas na UnB, integrei a banda Inquieto Facho - na época, Ana Flavia Garcia, Alessandro Lustosa, Ricardo Ned, Ricardo Ribeiro e Gilmar Duarte. Amo. As fotos são de Salleh Yusuf, do show Canções Inquietas para Meninos e Meninas, que fizemos no Brasília Shopping, e do festival FINCA da UnB, quando fomos finalistas com a canção "O Mar e Ana". O Inquieto Facho ainda existe e foi lindo o show mais recente no Bendito Suco. Moisés Conceição era meu professor de teatro na Associação Arte e Ecologia (ASCAE) em Santa Cruz Cabrália, na Bahia e me apresentou à Banda Nataraj - na éepoca, Pedro Bezzi, Gandhi Grecov, Ari de Paula, Kut Vollmer e Juju Vollmer.  Participei de alguns ensaios e shows, e contribuí também com cenários. A banda ainda existe, com Juju e Gandhi, e quem vai ao sul da Bahia não deve perder. (Em breve, os links). 



The music belongs to existence... / A música pertence à existência...

I hear your blessed music, but I don't see your guitar. Beloved Master, what is your instrument?

Milarepa, neither the music is mine nor the guitar. The music belongs to existence, and the guitar belongs to you. You are the guitar, and this whole vast universe is the music.
I am at the most just a passage for the music to reach to the guitar. That's why you don't see my guitar—because you don't see yourself. Who are you? On whom am I playing my music? You hear my words and you also hear my silences, and naturally you feel a certain music surrounding me. That music is your response, your love, your trust.
In a way I am not here. It has been a long time since I left this small house for the eternity. It is the compassion of eternity that this small house still goes on continuing to function. It is also your love, your prayers, your gratitude that helps my body-mind system to function. I don't have any desire to be fulfilled. All is fulfilled—and when all is fulfilled a music arises. I don't have any ambition….
We take the present moment and squeeze the whole juice of it—that's our religion. Wherever we will be, one thing is certain: we will recognize each other just by the style of squeezing the juice from the present moment.
Faces may be different, planets may be different, that does not mean anything. We have a key to recognize our people: in their eyes, in their faces, they are always existential.
Milarepa, you are my instrument. Your guitar is my guitar. Your fingers playing on the instruments are my fingers. Can't you allow that?…
Milarepa, you hear my music; that music comes from the beyond. I cannot claim any monopoly, any copyright on it. And you want to see my guitar—just look at your guitar, just look at your hands. In deep love a synchronicity happens. You start doing things which my deepest being wanted to do, but I don't know music; I cannot even recognize which is a guitar and which is a harmonium and which is a saxophone.
I have never been a singer, not even a bathroom singer. I have lived in many houses in this country with many friends, and many times people have asked, "At least we were thinking you will be singing in the bathroom, but you don't sing?"
I don't know singing…I am a song. I don't know singing—you will have to sing in me. You will have to allow yourself to be totally available to me.
You can dance and it will be my dance.
You can sing and it will be my song.
You can play on instruments, but your fingers will be in synchronicity with me, and I am in synchronicity with the whole. So it is just formal to say that you are my songs, that you are my music. I am just a small passage; the beyond comes through me to your eyes. And because it is of the beyond it has a tremendous capacity to transform you.
I have not said a single word to you on my own; hence I can claim originality in the literal sense of the word. Ordinarily originality means nobody else has said it, only I am saying it; that is using the word wrongly. Originality should mean it is coming from the origins…origins of life, origins of love, origins of existence.  Osho talks about music
